The Utah Jazz Stars Embrace the Holiday Spirit
Utah Jazz player Lauri Markkanen and Erik Phillips, the team's vice president of performance health care, decided to spread some holiday cheer by dressing up as the infamous Wet Bandits from the "Home Alone" movie series. Markkanen, standing at 7-foot-1, took on the role of Marv Murchins, the taller half of the duo, while Phillips portrayed Harry Lyme. The two of them donned the iconic looks of the characters, adding a fun twist to their appearance.
A Nostalgic Throwback to the Classic Films
The Wet Bandits, known for their antics in the "Home Alone" movies, were infamous for leaving the water running at the houses they burglarized. This signature move earned them their nickname and ultimately led to their downfall in the first film when the police connected the dots. In the sequel, the duo became the "Sticky Bandits" after Marv used double-sided tape to commit theft, adding another layer of humor to their criminal escapades.
