Rivian has surprised the automotive world with the unveiling of its smaller R3 electric crossover and its performance variant, the R3X. The R3 is built on the already shortened R2 platform, resulting in a wheelbase that is 5 inches shorter than the R2 and 10.5 inches shorter than the R1S SUV. Despite its compact size, the R3 maintains SUV-like ground clearance, making it a capable "adventure vehicle."
